Accessibility

Everyone should be able to learn about OASIS and reach us, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we've done

• Built pages with clear headings, landmarks, and labelled form fields so screen readers can navigate them.
• Made every link, button, menu, and form field usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
• Added text descriptions to meaningful images.
• Chosen text and background colours with readable contrast.
• Turned off motion effects for visitors who ask their device to reduce motion.
• Made the layout work when text is enlarged and on small screens.

Known limits

We haven't yet had the site independently audited, so some parts may still fall short. We review the site when we make changes and fix problems as we find them.
